글렌드로낙 CS 배치 11 — 첫 시음

내생에 첫 드로낙CS라 상당히 기대를 했는데,
기대를 충족하는 맛.
NAS+CS 조합이라 혹시 모를 알콜 부즈가 살짝 걱정되서 시음은 10분정도 두었다 진행했다.

노즈에서는 시간을 두었어도 약간의 알콜기운이 느껴졌지만 생각보단 괜찮았다. 그리고 글렌알라키 같은 느낌의 초콜릿향과 드로낙 전형적인 셰리가 막 그냥 GomaSherry 뿜어져 나온다.
맛은 21년과 유사한 결이 느껴짐. 대부분이 비슷하지만 리치함이 조금 떨어지는 정도?
가볍게 혀를 살짝 자극해서 입맛을 더 돋구어주는 정도의 스파이시와 와인느낌의 달달함 그리고 노즈에서 느껴졌던 다크초콜릿도 갖고 있다.
고도수 탓인지 피니쉬도 꽤 길고 여운이 짙다.

대체로 CS는 에어레이션되고 나면 더 만족도가 높아지기에 다음이 훨씬 기대되는 보틀이다.
어쨌든 이 보틀을 끝으로 레이첼 누나는 무조건 믿기로 했다.

It's my first-ever GlenDronach CS, so I had pretty high expectations,
and it totally lived up to them.
With the NAS + CS combo I was a little worried about possible alcohol booze, so I let it sit for about 10 minutes before tasting.

On the nose, even after resting, there was a bit of alcohol heat, but it was better than I expected. Then a GlenAllachie-like chocolate aroma and that classic Dronach sherry just come gushing out.
The palate feels similar in character to the 21. Mostly alike, just a touch less rich?
There's a spiciness that lightly tickles the tongue and whets your appetite even more, a wine-like sweetness, and the dark chocolate from the nose is there too.
Maybe thanks to the high ABV, the finish is pretty long and the aftertaste runs deep.

CS whiskies generally get more satisfying once they've had some air, so I'm looking forward to the next pour even more.
Anyway, with this bottle I've decided to trust sis Rachel no matter what.
So glad I bought two bottles~~~~😆😆
