아벨라워 아부나흐 배치 75

친구들 정기모임 장소로 잡은 고깃집.
위스키 콜키지를 5만원이나 받아서 한병으로도 적적해질수 있게 아부나흐로 챙겨감.
며칠전에 다 비운 74배치보다 스파이시가 적고 밸런스도 더 좋은 느낌.

고기도 직접 구워주시고 친절하고 맛도 좋아서 오랜만에 만난 친구들과 기분좋게 마셨던것 같음.

다만 약간 아쉽고 불만인 점이 요즘 위스키 콜키지 가능한곳도 많아져서 좋긴한데, 3~5만원정도의 콜키지를 받을거면 적어도 글렌캐런같은 위스키 전용잔 정도는 구비를 해줬음 좋겠다.
와인은 콜키지 프리에 와인잔 셋팅까지 다 해주면서 위스키는 왜 맨날 샷잔 아니면 화요전용잔 같은거만 주는건지...
비단 이번 고깃집 뿐 아니라 지금까지 위스키 콜키지 받으면서 노징글라스를 내어주는 업소는 한군데도 없었다.
그럴거면 그냥 위스키 콜키지불가or프리를 해주지...

인당 십만원어치 이상 사먹었고 위스키 콜키지로 5만원 지불하는 곳에서 글렌캐런잔 하나 준비 못해준다니 마이 섭섭했다...😭😭

부쩍 늘어나고 있는 위스키 애호가들의 취향도 좀 맞춰줬음 좋겠다.🥲

A Korean BBQ joint we picked for my friends' regular get-together.
They charged a whopping 50,000 won for whisky corkage, so I brought A'bunadh, so that even a single bottle would be enough to get us nicely warmed up.
It felt less spicy and better balanced than Batch 74, which I finished off a few days ago.

They grilled the meat for us, the staff were friendly and the food was great, so I think I had a really good time drinking with friends I hadn't seen in ages.

But one little disappointment and complaint: it's great that more and more places allow whisky corkage these days, but if you're going to charge 30,000-50,000 won for it, I wish you'd at least have proper whisky glasses like Glencairns on hand.
Wine gets free corkage and a full wine glass setup, so why does whisky always get a shot glass or something like a Hwayo soju glass...
And it's not just this BBQ place - of all the places where I've paid whisky corkage so far, not a single one has brought out a nosing glass.
If that's how it's going to be, just make whisky corkage either not allowed or free...

We each ate over 100,000 won worth of food, I paid 50,000 won in whisky corkage, and they couldn't even prepare a single Glencairn glass - that really bummed me out...😭😭

I hope they'll start catering a bit more to the tastes of the fast-growing crowd of whisky lovers.🥲
