발베니 16년 프렌치오크 — 바에서

이번에 맛도 안보고 무지성으로 들인 발베니16년 프렌치 오크 내껀 못까먹겠어서 또 넘에술 파는곳 와서 마셔봄😁

찾는사람이 없었는지 주문하니 새보틀을 내어주셨다. 😃

뚜따 직후였지만 부즈는 적은편.
직관적으로 느껴지는 향은 잘익은 청사과 같은 향이 많이 나고 발베니라 그런지 꿀같은 달달한 향도 같이 퍼져서 전체적으로는 당도높은 꿀사과 같은 느낌.🍏🍏🍏

부드럽고 화사하고 달달하면서 스파이시도 거의 없어 마시기 아주 편한 위스키였다. 사과같은 그런 화사한 피니쉬가 생각보다 길게 뽑히는 느낌도 처음 받아봄.

나쁘진 않았으나, 내가 구매한 가격을 생각하니 씁쓸해지면서 그냥 집에 있는건 관상용으로 쓰기로 마음 먹었다.🥲

셰리성애자로써 한잔 비우자마자 꾸덕한 셰리가 필요해져서 바로 다음잔으로 맥캘란 18년&스프링뱅크 15년을 시켰고 그건 다음피드에 적어야지.😘

I couldn't bring myself to crack open my own Balvenie 16 French Oak, which I brainlessly bought without even tasting it, so I came to a place that sells other people's booze and tried it here instead 😁

Guess nobody had been asking for it, because when I ordered they brought out a brand-new bottle. 😃

It had just been opened, but the booze was on the low side.
The nose that hits you right away is lots of ripe green apple, and maybe because it's a Balvenie, a sweet honey-like aroma spreads along with it, so overall it's like a super sweet honey apple.🍏🍏🍏

Smooth, bright and sweet with almost no spice, it was a very easy-drinking whisky. It's also the first time I've felt that kind of bright, apple-y finish stretch out longer than I expected.

It wasn't bad, but thinking about the price I paid for mine made me bitter, and I decided the one at home will just be for display.🥲

As a sherry fanatic, the moment I emptied the glass I needed some thick sherry, so I immediately ordered a Macallan 18 & Springbank 15 for the next round - I'll write about those in the next post.😘
